EDNA JENSEN
1916 - 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our beloved
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend EDNA
VIOLET JENSEN (nee Williams).
Edna was born on May 23, 1916 in Richfield, Idaho.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Art (Clara),
grandchildren Renee (Kent) Griffith and Darin (Carlee) Jensen, five
great grandchildren; Kirk, Cameron, Brook, Morgan and Dylan, sisters
Ruby Douglas and Myrtle Younie, sister-in-law Hilda Wilson as well
as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred, sons Elmer and Dale,
parents John and Violet Williams, brothers Henry and George as well
as several brothers and sisters-in-law.
At Edna’s request, cremation and a private family service will take
place.
In memory of Edna, donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. Box 570, 1441

KAY JENSEN
2008

MRS. KAY JENSEN, beloved wife of the late “Byng” Jensen, passed away
at the Chinook Regional Hospital with her family at her side on
Friday, March 28, 2008 at the age of 84 years.
Kay leaves to cherish her memory her children Bob (Marj) Jensen of
Calgary, Pat Bodnar of Picture Butte, Gloria (Irv) Martens of
Lethbridge as well as 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by Ron (Neva) Aitken of Pincher Creek, Helen
Charlesworth of Picture Butte, Gail (Sallie) Aitken of Aldergrove
and Bev (Len) Herring of Lethbridge.
She was predeceased by her parents, one sister Sheila Zonneveld, one
grandson Sean Martens and one son-in-law Bill Bodnar.
Kay worked for Automatic Electric and was a loyal member of the
Picture Butte Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Purple for the
past 50 years. The most important thing to Kay was her family and
friends. Her other passions included curling, travelling and
volunteering. However, what brought Kay great pleasure was her
ability to bake, quilt, knit and crochet wonderful handmade gifts
which she lovingly shared with all.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800
Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, April 4, 2008 at
1:00 P.M. with Reverend Elizabeth Brown officiating.
Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Flowers are graciously declined, those who wish may donate to a
charity of one’s choice.

DALE JAFFARY
2007
DALE JAFFARY of Lethbridge, beloved father of Jason Jaffary of
Lethbridge and Jocelyn Jaffary of Oyama, B.C., passed away at home
on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 58 years.
Besides his loving children, Dale is survived by his grandchildren
Rylee and Tayler, brother Ken (Alice) Jaffary of Lethbridge, sisters
Marion Bourne of Edmonton and Barbara Skirten of Calgary as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Family Service will be held at a later date.

GLADYS JARVIE
2007
MRS. GLADYS JARVIE, beloved wife of Mr. Marshall Jarvie, passed away
at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2007.
Besides her loving husband Marshall, Gladys is survived by her
daughter Brenda (John) Czaga of Kitimat, B.C. and granddaughter
Kayla Czaga of Victoria, B.C.
A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY on
Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M.

David Delroy Jensen
1931 - 2007
David Delroy Jensen was born December 4, 1931 at Aetna, Alberta and
passed away August 31, 2007 at Raymond, Alberta after a long and
courageous battle with Parkinson’s. The family wishes to thank the
doctors, nurses and all staff at the Raymond Long Term Care for the
loving care and support given to Dave and family.
Dave was a gifted musician, and talented poet. He had a great love
for the outdoors. He loved fishing and camping. He worked as a
rancher and to him his job was play. What was most important to Dave
was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Waltraud and their five
children: Evelyn (Don) Laqua, Robert (Jennifer) Jensen, Andrew
Jensen, Wayne (Debbie) Jensen, and Tammy (Erle) Teneycke, and 15
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His parents, Hans Christian
Jensen and Zina Skriver and four sisters and one brother and two
grandchildren predeceased him. One sister, Elvira (Stanley) Fuller
survives him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 2
pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Raymond Stake
Centre Building, at Raymond, Alberta.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of
Southern Alberta, 1254 3 Ave S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0J9.
