So sorry for your loss.
I got to know Ruth in River Ridge Condo. I enjoyed our Sunday morning coffee at A & W.
She was wonderful and unique and will be thought of frequently.

Carolyn, Evelyn and Lorraine,
We are sorry to read of your Mom;s passing. She was a wonderful caring person and the world will feel her loss. She always treated us kids with kindness and respect. She was a good neighbor. We are thinking of all of you.

Being one of the Ontario nieces, when I was growing up, I only saw Aunt Ruth every 4 or 5 years, usually as part of a family trip to one of dad’s conferences in the west. She was so good at coming up to Calgary when we visited, as Lethbridge was just that little bit farther of a drive.
More recently, when I brought my dad, Tom, out to Calgary for visits with my sister, Sarah, Ruth made the effort (with the help of her chauffeurs, Carolyn and Evelyn) to get up to see us. Family was always so important for her. And she would talk about her grand kids (and then great grand kids) with a big smile on her face.
I am so glad that I had a chance to visit with her last May (2021), before her health challenges really began. Evelyn and Carolyn- you were such support for her!
I have two Aunt Ruth quilts and will remember a fiercely independent, talented woman, whenever I look at them.
Rest in peace Aunt Ruth.

I’ve just read Ruth’s Obituary which brings back many memories. Rest In Peace as you join
your siblings and other loved ones.
