ALEXANDER JOZSA Jr., beloved husband of the late Jolayne Jozsa, of Wrentham, passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

ALEXANDER JOZSA Jr., beloved husband of the late Jolayne Jozsa, of Wrentham, passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving family: daughter Cindy (Wayne) Lazarick, their son Christopher (Christina); and their daughter, Kelsey (Bret) Tasker and two great-grandchildren.

Alex was educated in Wrentham and attended Olds Agriculture College and Auctioneer School in Billings, Montana. He married Jolayne Molnar, and resided and farmed in the Wrentham area. Alex was a mixed farmer who loved to watch his growing crops. His love of animals led him to raise registered heifer cattle and he knew each cow by name. He always had a dog that walked beside him on the farm. He will deeply miss his dog, "Angel".

Alex and Jolayne were married for 64 years and loved to visit their "Sweetheart Tree " by Cameron Falls in Waterton. Each anniversary, he bought Jolayne a dozen red roses and a romantic card.  Alexander will be fondly remembered as a man with a "big heart".

Alex's greatest attributes was to serve his community. He served as a county councillor for the County of Warner from Oct. 1980 to Oct. 1989, as well as on the Wrentham School Board. He loved working with young people by becoming a 4-H, Cubs and Scouts leader. Alex volunteered many hours on the Wrentham water project. "His pipe dream". .

Alex loved to spend time with his family, especially Sunday dinners. He looked forward to visit with family and lately, weekly Facetime chats. He was a member of the Wrentham Community Church, Wrentham Curling Club, Lions Club, and the Auctioneers Association of Alberta.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family services. Alex will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife in Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alexander's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Lethbridge (#40, 1202 - 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 0E3).
