EDITH MARGARET YORGASON (DOW) passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on June 21, 2022 - just shy of her 96th birthday.

Edie was the 7th child of Harry & Violet Dow (Honey) of Claresholm.  She grew up in Claresholm and then attended Business College in Calgary and along the way developed friendships that lasted her lifetime.

She married her first husband - Pat Lowe, in 1946 and when son Robert was born, they moved to Lethbridge where Sandra and Susan soon arrived.  Edie was a busy mother who took her job seriously ensuring her kids were loved, well cared for, and allowed to prosper.

In 1967, Edie married Robert Yorgason and they moved to Hinton where she developed a strong appreciation for golf which she continued well into her 70's.  She started a second career with RBC and upon retirement, Edie and Robert moved to High River and subsequently to Lethbridge.

Edie is survived by her son Robert (Billie) Lowe and daughters Sandra Lowe and Susan (Tracy) Dow,  as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, where every visit with them was something special.

She was predeceased by her parents, six siblings, her husband Robert Yorgason, and grandson Shane Wade Lowe.

Special thanks to the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre for their compassionate care after Edie fell and broke her hip.  Thanks as well to the staff and residents at Martha's House where Edie resided for 16 years.  Special thanks to Debi for her love and support.

According to her wishes, there will be no service and she will be laid to rest at a private family service in the Dow Family plot in Claresholm.

See you later mom…. love you dearly
