Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematorium is a privately owned business with local ownership and is conveniently located on the corner of Mayor Magrath Drive and 28 Avenue South in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Ralph and Faith Zentner, owners and directors, offer dignified, affordable service to families of all faiths. They understand the confusion that accompanies a loss of a loved one and are committed to assisting their clients in dealing with the logistics of planning a funeral service, memorial, burial, cremation or transfer while respecting their feelings and wishes. They can provide information regarding in-ground and above-ground interment, cremation, columbariums, mausoleums and monuments. Their experienced and compassionate staff are available for pre-planning assistance, whether needed in the immediate or distant future.

Cornerstone Funeral Home, opened in the fall of 1995, was the first funeral home in Southern Alberta to have all amenities under one roof. With an ample sized chapel, reception room, crematorium, including an indoor columbarium as well as a large parking area that accommodates up to 80 vehicles, Cornerstone can accommodate most services. Cornerstone also offers an AfterCare Program, which assists families with the multitude of forms to be completed following the funeral.

As a way of celebrating their loved one's anniversary and giving back to the community, Cornerstone Funeral Home offers complimentary Memorial Doves, to all families that have lost a loved one. Since their opening of Cornerstone Funeral Home, Ralph and Faith Zentner have given out over twenty thousand doves to bereaved families of Southern Alberta. They have also started the first telephone obituary column, for those who are visually impaired. The Forget Me Not line started as a way to help those who are unable to read the newspaper. Cornerstone Funeral Home also offers an e-mail service for expression of sympathy: care@cornerstonefh.ca

Cornerstone Funeral Home is also a proud supporter of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program (Prevent Alcohol & Risk Related Trauma in Youths). This valuable program brings grade nine students through the tour of the emergency department at the hospital then to the funeral home. With a frank and honest approach, we explain to the students the dangers of drinking and driving.

Cornerstone Funeral Home has been honoured to win the Business of the Year Award for the professional/service category for the year 2002. They were also presented the Estelle Botfield Memorial Award for excellence in customer service, as well as being one of the finalists for the Provincial award from the Chamber of Commerce. Ralph and Faith Zentner were also selected as finalists for the Better Business Bureau Award of Distinction, a province wide event.

Being part of the community, providing excellent service at a fair price and sometimes just being a shoulder to lean on is what most can expect from Cornerstone Funeral Home.
