Rika, children and grand children, Tena send us a message, telling about the passing of Gerard. We feel so sorry, what a chock must that have been, so suddenly. I only met Gerard a few times, but the picture of the Snip familie was on the mantelpiece in my parents living room. My mum was very proud of her big brother and his family in Canada. I remember on staff party at the old house. Gerald was ignoring all the boring academic folk and playing...croquet I think, in the backyard with young Cassandra Eliot. This had Rika
telling us all about the fun he had with his girls growing up. You were blessed to have him, and we thank you for sharing him, his joy, and his sense of fun with us.
