ETHEL MAE O’HARA, beloved wife of the late Thomas James “Jim” O’Hara, of Bow Island, formerly of Milk River, passed away at the Bow Island Health Center, on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Ethel is survived by her son Elroy (Edith) and their children Todd (Rita), Kelvin (Lori) and Kim (Scott) MacDonald, great-grandchildren Bryan (Kristen), Karmen (Kevin), Meagan, Emily, Jordan, Darian and as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

O’HARA THOMAS JAMES “JIM” O’HARA, beloved husband of Mrs. Ethel O’Hara of Bow Island, formerly of Milk River, passed away at the Bow Island Health Centre on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ethel, their son Elroy (Edith) and their children Todd (Rita), Kelvin (Lori) and Kim (Scott) MacDonald, their great grandchildren Bryan (Kristen), Karmen (Kevin), Meagan, Emily, Jordan, Darian and as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC, where she had moved to be near family and because of her declining health in 2005. Mom was born in Hardieville, AB the eldest of four children and was raised on a farm near Coaldale, AB, where she attended school. She was only able to finish grade 10 and then had to find employment as economic times were difficult. She is predeceased by her parents William and Rose Levitsky, her sister Mary and brother Fred.

MR. HERMAN OELKE, beloved husband of Mrs. Erna Oelke, of Lethbridge, formerly of Coaldale, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Edith Cavell Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Herman was born January 14, 1930 in Klementinow, Poland to Albert and Leokadio Oelke. He is survived by his loving wife Erna of 57 years, his daughter Cindy (Calvin) Miller, grandchildren Brant, Caitlynn and Lacey.

EVERETTE "EV" ALLAN OFFET, passed away at the Chartwell Colonel Belcher on Friday, November 11th, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Cremation Entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home. At Everette's request there will be no formal funeral service held.

MRS. DOROTHEA “DORIS” OKART, beloved wife of Mr. Robert Okart of Coaldale, passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Doris is survived by her loving husband Robert, daughters, Monika (Dennis) Walshe of Cranbrook, B.C., Cindy (Louis) Brandsma of Lethbridge, Carolynn Rempel (Steve Dahl) of Carmangay and Robby (Garth) Savilow, along with 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Robert Okart, beloved husband of the late Dorothea Okart, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 86. Robert is survived by his daughters, Monika (Dennis) Walshe of Cranbrook, B.C., Cindy (Louis) Brandsma of Lethbridge, Carolynn Rempel of Carmangay and Robby (Garth) Savilow of Calgary, along with 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his wife Dorothea “Doris”, his parents Fred and Maria Hust and granddaughter Lindsay Brandsma.

MR. JOHN OKKEN, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Marga Okken of Lethbridge, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the age of 85 years. John was predeceased by his wife Marga in February 2005. Left to mourn are his children; Carola (Allan), Jo-Anne (Stephen), John (Nikki), and his grandchildren; Caitlin, Gordon, Lorianne, Jordan and Christopher. John was born October 24, 1924 in Hoogeveen Drente, Netherlands.

“PIIKSOOMAAHKAA” Joseph Old Shoes born February 28, 1951 passed away at the age of 60 years. The Creator called him home on June 15, 2011. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Melva Old Shoes (Healy) whom he loved so much & talked of everyday. A Wake Service will be held at CHIEF MOUNTAIN CHAPEL, Moses Lake on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at CHIEF MOUNTAIN CHAPEL, Moses Lake on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 1:00 P.

LYNN OLDRIDGE, our dear wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge, AB on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the age of 72 years after a courageous battle with ALS. Lynn (nee Taylor) was born in Vancouver, B.C. on October 5, 1942. She is survived by her loving husband Ron, daughter Sue Cox and two grandchildren Erik and Anni; Son Mike and his wife Sue are both high school teachers at Pitt Meadows Secondary in the Lower Mainland.
