PATRICIA “PATTI” LYNN FINNERTY (née Sinclair) passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, October 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Patti was born in Hanna, Alberta and raised in Delia, Alberta on the family farm.

She is survived by her husband Dale; daughter Tricia (Shaun) of Lethbridge, AB and their children Kalem, Rylynn, and Karsen; son Ryan (Emma) of Manchester, U.K, and their children Novalie and Charlie. She is also survived by her siblings Ken (Mary) Sinclair and Marilyn Adam and numerous nieces and nephews. Patti was predeceased by her parents, John and Gladys Sinclair.

Her grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy. She gave them the kind of unconditional love that only a grandmother could. Patti had a special gift for making everyone feel valued and cared for, and her kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Patti was the heart of her family – a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose compassion touched all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patti’s memory to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge, AB.

A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. The Celebration will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Patti’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
