Rombough, Roger

November 1, 2025

Date of Service: November 5, 2025

ROGER GORDON ROMBOUGH, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of the late Barbara Rombough, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Saturday, November 1 2025, at the age of 78 years.

Roger is survived by his children: Jennifer, Lindsey (Neill) and Ian (Heidi); and grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Taylor, TJ, Addyson and Ashton.

Roger was born on December 4, 1946 in Taber, Alberta, to Clifford and Agnes Rombough. He was the glue of the family—the one everyone could count on for anything. He would fix anything that was broken, or offer us forceful customer support from afar (aka FaceTime). A man of few words but a listener of everything, he had a gift for making those around him feel heard and cared for. His love for his grandchildren was boundless, and his home was always open and welcoming to anyone who walked through the door—humans and dogs alike. Known for his iconic random text messages, his chocolate chip cookie addiction, and his unofficial role as the neighbourhood watch and family location tracker, Roger brought humour, dependability, and love into everyday life. True to his nature, he preferred things calm and simple—his only request, always: “Don’t cause a scene.”

Roger will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Roger’s life will take place at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.
