Oussoren, John

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself; that where I am, there you also will be" John 14:3

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself; that where I am, there you also will be" John 14:3

In God's perfect timing He called home His faithful son JOHN OUSSOREN, 65. John returned to his heavenly home on November 3, 2022, with his devoted wife by his side after a valiant battle with Dementia. His devotion to his family and his firm unwavering conviction in God supported him in his diagnosis and ultimately gave him peace.

John was predeceased by his father and sister.

He leaves to mourn his wife Glenda and their three children Kristal, Kimberly and Kayla-Marie, as well as his mother and surviving siblings.  John was a proud father but an even prouder Papa to his five grandchildren Bryce, Brayden, Jaxden, Bentley and Peyton.

Dad was known for his quiet gentle nature; he had the gift to connect and talk to anyone at any time especially those who were suffering or lonely. Dad never hesitated to give anyone a helping hand or an encouraging word. And for this he was deeply truly loved and admired.

God shall wipe all the tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's society. Public visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 7:00-8:00pm. A private Service will be held at a later date.

Our family would like to acknowledge the staff at Sunny South Lodge in Coaldale for their selflessness, kindness, support and dedication to our father while he was in their care. Taking care of dad was a tough job but you managed to do it perfectly! Thank you so much. You did what we couldn't, and knowing he was in great hands made saying goodbye so much easier. We are forever grateful.
