It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of ROY DOUGLAS PETERS of Lethbridge, AB on July 17, 2023 at the age of 75 years old.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Francine; children, Steven, Kimberly (Karl), and Donna (Cameron); grandchildren, Amanda (Cole), Michelle, Christopher, Corey, Chelsey (Tyler) and Melissa; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Roy will also be dearly missed by his sister Patricia and family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and John, as well as his brother, Duncan.

Roy was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Roy's love for trains led him to 37 years of service with the Canadian Pacific Railway, retiring in 2006. The next best thing to being surrounded by palm trees was settling in LA, Lethbridge Alberta of course. He enjoyed travelling, spending time with his great-grandchildren, watching the Roughriders, and turning the volume up on his Eagles soundtrack. Roy will be especially remembered for his infectious laugh and kindred spirit that brought strength to all.

A Celebration of Life for close friends and family will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made in the name of Roy Peters to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, www.albertacancer.ca.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the compassionate staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital.
