Derrian was born and raised in Prince George, British Columbia. After growing up in the Northern logging city, she moved to Caronport, Saskatchewan to attend Briercrest College to pursue her love of music.

Derrian met her husband Trevor in a voice class and they were married in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2021 and Derrian and Trevor moved to Lethbridge the following October. After adopting her puppy, Raya, Derrian was hired on at Cornerstone Funeral Home as an attendant that would learn the live streaming and audio/visual side of the funeral business. Derrian and Trevor welcomed their first child, Judah, in July 2022.

She enjoys music and singing and anything to do with theatre and also looks forward to the warm weather and getting outside to explore the scenery of Lethbridge and surrounding areas that is now home to her. Derrian loves travelling to visit family that live all across Canada and reading as many books that she can make time for.

While Derrian is new to the funeral industry, it is something that has always intrigued her and she could not feel more honoured or humbled to serve the families that Cornerstone partners with. She looks forward to learning more about this industry and growing in her career with Cornerstone Funeral Home.
