Trish was born and raised in northern British Columbia and spent 25 years of her life caring for others as a Registered Nurse in Alberta and Ontario. She and her husband, Ric, moved to Lethbridge in 1990 where he worked for the Lethbridge Police Service until retiring in 2013. Trish and Ric are the proud parents of two sons, Tyler (Katie) and Liam.
Trish has a long history of participating on committees dedicated to her family’s social, sport and school activities. She is a proud and committed community member in Lethbridge, volunteering in past years on the host and executive committees of provincial and national curling, golf and slow-pitch championships.
In 2010, she enjoyed the opportunity to work for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Host Broadcaster, Olympic Broadcasting Services in the Motor Pool, Logistics Division. She found this experience to be tremendously fulfilling and a life-changing moment, motivating her to change careers from healthcare to event-planning.
Since suffering the personal loss of her father in 2011, she appreciates the enormity of the tasks involved in resolving an estate and how overwhelming they can seem. Cornerstone served her family in their time of grieving and she was so impressed with their services and professionalism that, when offered the Aftercare position in 2012, she did not hesitate to accept. Her strong technical and organizational skills, partnered with her sensitivity and compassion, all carry into assisting families with all the details and paperwork after the loss of a loved one.
