FRANCES NO RUNNER "Kaiistaohkomi" (Together the Thunders Roared) passed peacefully on February 23, 2018, after 75 years of service to the Creator and Family. She is joyously home now. She was born to Bob and Helen (Oka) No Runner on March 28, 1942, the sixth of seven children. She lived out her life in Old Agency on the Blood Reserve. She attended St. Paul's Anglican Residential School. Frances was an introspective and intelligent person who loved school and had aspirations for higher learning, however circumstances at the time limited native women to gain higher education.

DARCY NICKEL, beloved husband, father grandfather and friend passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the age of 55 years. Darcy is survived by his wife Shelley Nickel, his two children Justin Nickel and Kaulona Nickel and his two grandchildren MaKenzie and Kade. GEORGE GERHART NEUFELD, beloved husband of Apollonia "Loni" Neufeld of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Friday January 5, 2018 at the age of 88 years. George was born in Hierschau, Ukraine on February 18, 1929 to Aron and Anna (nee Plett) Neufeld. He was the 5th of 13 children. When his father was taken away by the Russian army for his religious convictions and community position, his mother realized the family had no alternative but to flee their homeland.

FERROL JEAN NICOL, beloved wife of Brian Nicol, of Coaldale, passed away surrounded by the comfort of her family at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the age of 58 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Stefanie (Nick Kuhl) Nicol of Taber and Brent (Brinn Lemke) Nicol of Coaldale. She is also survived by her father William Robert Sinclair, her brother Tracy (Heather) Sinclair and her sister Jolayne (Sid) Manning, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

LEONARD K. NEWTON passed away with his family by his side at the Fort Macleod Health Centre on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, at the age of 61 years. Leonard is survived by his brother Randy and Louise Newton of Osoyoos, BC and their family Heather and Aiden; and Ken, Tyson, Brad and Jillian; his sister Janice Hufnagel of Cochrane, AB and her family Frank and Martha, John and Jamie, Greg, Kate; Pat and David, Parker, Jared; Donna and Kevin, Annalee and Jesse, Dallas.

DAN NG, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Shandy, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 9th, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by Danny Jr. (Patricia) of Calgary, Cullen (Connie) of Lethbridge, Dickson (Tracy) of Lethbridge and Elaine (Cam) of Edmonton. Dan's seven grandchildren are Jordan, Sylvia, Kayla, Malcolm, Ryan, Isaac and Nicolas. Many relatives found in China, Hong Kong, Canada and The United States also survive him.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our mom, ISABELLE (MICKIE) NICKLE, nee Harrison, of Victoria, BC on July, 15, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Mom was born to the late Thomas and Isabella (Urwin) Harrison, July 13, 1929 in Canmore Alberta. She and her parents then moved to Lethbridge, where she attended school and began her working life. She married the late Henry James (Harry) Burris and was a loving mother to Roberta Burris (Jim Gabert), Jane Allan (Bruce), Tim Burris (Nancy Griffin), Michael Burris (Anita Cocchia), Mary-Kate Mitchell (Jim Dalton), Lorena Masnyk (Dan) and Erin Burris.

CAM NEALE, of Picture Butte, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 21 years. A Celebration of Cam's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.

On May 20, 2017, God granted our mother, ANNE NEUFELDT, her wish and took her to her heavenly home. Mom passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 92 years with family by her side. She follows her husband Jake who was waiting to greet her. Others she looked forward to seeing again were her parents, all of her siblings, and many friends and loved ones whose lives she enriched with her love.

LORRAINE NICKEL, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Good Samaritans West Highlands on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at the age of 58 years. Those left behind to cherish Lorraine's memory are her father, Stewart Douglas; daughter Yvonne and granddaughter Bailey; daughter LeeAnne (Jeff); and her siblings: Glenn, Linda, Lyle, Cheryl, Alan and their families. A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB.
