MARGARET ANN AITKEN passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 78 years following a long battle with heart disease.
MARGARET ANN AITKEN passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 78 years following a long battle with heart disease.
Margaret is survived by her sisters: Beverly Cargill, Shirley (Bill) Barnowich, Judy (Jim) May, Connie Koncz (née Aitken) and Michele Aitken (Lyle) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born and raised in Lethbridge. She was the second oldest of nine daughters. Following high school, she graduated from nursing. This was to be a short lived career. She found her stride working with AGT, advancing herself from operator to management. Once retired, she devoted herself to caring for family.
Margaret loved to shop. Boy, could she shop. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crafts and gardening. Family calls and visits were always cherished.
A private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Margaret, just a kind thought or prayer would be appreciated. The world is a little less bright without her spark.
