MICHAEL AMBROSI, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 89 years.
MICHAEL AMBROSI, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his caring wife Ruth (nee Brandt), sons Charles Brandt of Strathmore and Roger Ambrosi of St. Albert, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many loving nephews and nieces.
He was the last surviving member of the family that emigrated from Europe in the early 50's. Mike worked for the Government of Alberta for 35 years, proudly building the St. Mary's Irrigation system across Southern Alberta. He lived in Magrath the rest of his life, building a happy and successful life filled with family and friends.
As per his wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a Family Interment will be held at the MAGRATH CEMETERY, Magrath, AB, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeremy Richert officiating.

Condolences to Charlie and his family at the loss of your dad. I think of you most days when we go out to Magrath and drive down past the corner where you used to live and show our grandchildren where we used to play as kids. God bless. Keith Dudley
