It was great sadness that I saw that my friend Wes passed away. I was his bank manager at Scotiabank for 12 years. I always loved our weekly Friday visits where he would tell me great stories of his days on the farm and talk about his garden. I learned a lot from Wes and I have missed him a lot since I retired from the bank two years ago. I know he loved his daughter Val and son Larry and all his grandkids. He was always very proud of them. It was my pleasure to meet and serve many of them as well. May the family find peace and happiness at this very sad time.
