Batty, Avis Marguerite

AVIS MARGUERITE BATTY, with her family by her side, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital just as the sun was rising on Sunday, August 1, 2010; she was 93 years old.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Orvel in 1988, infant son David in 1947, her parents William and Eleanor Crawford and her sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Colin Caswell, Avis is survived by her daughter and best friend Carol and devoted son-in-law Jack Ramsay, her sister-in-law Melba Batty of Assiniboia, SK., Audrey’s 5 children and their families as well as 7 nieces and nephews on Orvel’s side of the family.
