Beckner, David Neil

MR. DAVID NEIL BECKNER, beloved husband of Mrs. Tracey Simons of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the age of 56 years.

Dave is survived by his wife Tracey, brother John, sister Diane and numerous other relatives.

Dave was born in Ontario in 1954. He moved to various cities before settling in Lethbridge in the early 1990’s; he and Tracey met in 1995.

When he came to Lethbridge he purchased and ran the Lethbridge Fitness Club. Dave loved to golf and many lifelong friends were made on the course. He was also active in the Oldtimer’s Hockey Association for many years. Dave loved to travel with Australia being one of his most memorable trips.

At Dave’s request, a private family service will be held.
