BETHANY JOY KINISKY, of Raymond, beloved wife of Seth Kinisky passed away into the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the age of 31 years.

Bethany was the first of 12 children, and was an amazing oldest sister, caring for siblings as a youngster, and continued to do so as an adult. She began to speak at a very young age and never stopped! Beth lived up to her middle name, Joy - always smiling and spreading joy with her contagious, bubbly laugh and encouraging words. We are so thankful that God put her in our family … Bethany was and is a beautiful, kind soul, a delightful, helpful, caring daughter. As a child, she invited Jesus into her heart and was forever changed by her Creator. She had a passion for the Lord.

When Beth became an adult, she very quickly met and found new friends through her work experiences, from her best friend EBUBU and her future brother-in-law Nathaniel. She spread joy, happiness and love wherever she went and with whoever she met. Her heart could fill an entire church and then some. She brought so much life to the work environment and was given increasing responsibilities as her work was done with excellence. Along the way, she met a young man named Seth Kinisky.

As they started dating, Seth and Bethany realized how much more connected their lives were. From Seth’s brother, Nathaniel, being her phone guy, to Seth’s childhood bus driver, Mr. Saunders, being a pseudo uncle and the family bread man to Bethany. They were able to share many amazing memories. For Seth, their road trip to BC was like watching a kid in a candy store for the first time. She lit up seeing the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. Seth brought new energy and excitement to our house with funny stories. Our family joined Bethany in absolutely falling in love with Seth! They were married on Nov. 7, 2020.

We enjoyed many Christmas family get-togethers at “Sethany’s” home, as they so generously cooked, planned activities and Beth baked the most beautifully, precisely decorated cookies!  She often blessed others with gifts and loved to spend time with siblings, especially the younger ones.

The Kinisky family, Tom and Luann, Nathaniel and his family Meagan, and their children Gabrielle, Annaliese and Evangeline have such a deep gratitude for having Bethany join their family. Seeing Bethany’s part in Seth’s journey and being part of their lives as Bethany and Seth dated, ventured into their jobs and supported one another and matured as adults endeared her to their hearts.

The Kinisky’s are grateful to have been the recipient of her love, her joy and her wonderful times of care, and special play with the littles.

Bethany’s love of cooking, baking, music, gardening, nature, and her priority of family was so in line with Seth’s interests. Seth’s coffee was made from a “coffee station” perfected by a woman who knew and loved him so deeply and wanted to please him even in his morning coffee.

Bethany was forever reaching out to offer help and encouragement to anyone struggling with life’s challenges … she has always been that kind of person. To Seth, Bethany was without a doubt the best caregiver and nurse. Anytime he was sick or hurt - from small cuts to anything you can imagine - she was ready to heal. She was a natural apothecary and brought Seth great comfort. Unfortunately, Bethany encountered some challenges of her own, and was diagnosed with POTS, which made life very difficult, physically and mentally, with a severe lack of energy. She was unable to walk for a time, but she persevered, with prayer, dietary changes, therapy and exercise, bringing her strength up to be able to walk with a cane.

Through all the symptoms, medications, appointments, health scares, medical setbacks, limited capabilities, and changes to their lifestyle, Seth remained Bethany’s constant. He lived out loving her “through sickness and through health” as he faithfully and courageously served her, cared for her, advocated for her and

journeyed alongside her. Family and friends loved to hear him say her name, “Bethany”.

Once during her health challenges, she mustered her to strength to take a trip with Seth and some of our family to the Calgary Zoo. It was an incredibly daunting task with her health at the time. A cherished memory from this trip is a magical moment when she was covered in butterflies while resting in the butterfly exhibit. A little girl asked Bethany for a butterfly and as she passed one over, the girl asked in awe, “Are you a real princess?”. Bethany’s sister replied, “Yes.” This is the same awe and adoration that Bethany’s nieces felt whenever she did colouring, Barbies, balloon animals, ballet, or hair with them. She had such a gentle, caring, nurturing presence wherever she went.

Another point on this health journey, she was admitted to the hospital ER, and almost died, and had a near-death-experience in which she left her body. In this event, she encountered Jesus. She experienced incredible love that was beyond explanation and came out of it with the sense that she was to forgive everyone who had ever hurt her.

Bethany continued to fight for her health, but it was an uphill struggle. Her health was deteriorating over the last number of months. We were all shocked that this joyful person took her own life … how was this possible? We may never have all the answers - however, POTS was certainly a major factor. The Bethany we know, would never have chosen this path. But POTS flare ups can cause a downward spiral into deep depression, with “brain-fog” that can bring the mind in and out of reality. We believe that our precious Bethany was in a vulnerable state that morning, and in that mindset, simply longed to be home with Jesus and made a decision that she normally would not have made. The good news is, that she is indeed … safe in the arms of Jesus, with no more pain or fear.

Bethany’s life and death was not in vain. God will turn this for good - death has not won but hope and victory shall arise because she chose to trust in Jesus! We long to hold you and see your beautiful smile again, Bethany Joy … very soon.

Bethany leaves behind, her beloved husband, Seth Kinisky, parents, Paul Arthur & Heather Kadach, parents-in-law, Tom & Luann Kinisky, siblings, Rebecca Kadach, Karen Kadach, Sharon Abera (Esrom), Grace Kadach, William Kadach, Heather-Alice Webber (Daniel), Craig Kadach, Linden Kadach, Grayson Kadach, Pamela Kadach, Jonathan Kadach, brother-in-law, Nathaniel (Meagan), as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at COLLEGE DRIVE CHURCH – 2710 College Drive South, Lethbridge AB on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1:00PM with Pastor Craig Weber officiating. The Celebration of Life will be livestreamed and may be viewed through Bethany’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

In earlier times I would see Bethany already tall and beautiful shopping with the twins and her mother at 15% off SaveOn Days. She brought such joy to the world. Sending all our love and caring. Don and Kathy

Dear Seth. Our hearts are broken for you and the families. Bethany was such a beautiful young lady. I remember chauffeuring you two in our 1937 Chevy for the wedding. Bethany was breath taking. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. Love - Papa & Lynn

Bethany and my daughter Rhiannon became very close when Rhiannon was only 3 or 4 and met Bethany, her 2nd cousin, at a Kooy Family reunion out at the old Albert Kooy homestead near Nobleford back in (circa) 2011 or 2012. Bethany, who would have been 17 or 18 at the time, took Rhiannon’s hand and walked and talked with her all afternoon…they made a round door-stop out of cement and glass stones which we still have sitting outside our front door to this day. Bethany will be always treasured and loved.
