EVAN DOUGLAS BOHNET, beloved husband of Cheryl Holmes, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family, at the Raymond Health Centre, on Monday, February 11, 2019.
EVAN DOUGLAS BOHNET, beloved husband of Cheryl Holmes, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family, at the Raymond Health Centre, on Monday, February 11, 2019.
Along with his wife, he is lovingly remembered by his sons, Chris (Amy) Holmes, Jon Holmes, Jordon Holmes, and Doug Bohnet; grandchildren Victoria (Alex) Holmes, and Gregory Holmes; and two great grandchildren Zachary and Emerald Holmes. He was also survived by his brother Victor and two sisters Pansy and Brenda.
Evan was predeceased by his parents Conrad and Hazel, and siblings Paul, Faye and Nancy.
Spending quality time with his family brought Evan so much joy. He also greatly enjoyed outdoor actives such as fishing, boating, and camping. Or kicking back, and relaxing watching hockey, playing computer games, or painting by numbers.
A Celebration of Evan's Life will be held at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 4717-24th Ave South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, February 21st, 2019 at 7:00 P.M., with Pastor Wayne McNeilly officiating.

I used to work with Evan back in the late 60's and the early 70's at the H.H. Smith Ltd. Warehouse in Coutts Alberta. Evan was a good guy, a hard worker, and he had an awesome sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him and I am sad to see he has left us. My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Evan's family.
