ROBERT BOULTON passed away in Calgary on Monday, March 15, 2021, after a valiant effort for his life, at the age of 59 years old.
Rob is survived by his son Andrew Barker and mother Frieda Boulton, both of Lethbridge; four sisters: Linda (Ed) Klima of Lethbridge, Karen (Doug) LaValley of Calgary, Brenda Boulton (John Weber) of Waterloo ON and Anna Lee Boulton (Anton Glukhovsky) of Vancouver, BC.
He was predeceased by his father George "Bud" Boulton in 2011.
We remember Robert as a likeable, friendly and good-natured person. He loved golfing, (and was good at it, single handicap), water skiing and was fun-loving in general. He was a great cook and a real Foodie! He was accomplished in his career in the oil patch holding a fourth class engineer's certificate for pressure equipment. Then as work slowed in the summer, he completed training and received his certification as a swimming pool operator. He was an integral part of maintaining the acreage where he lived with his mother.
He will be missed by his many relatives and friends in the farming community who all have relayed stories of how Rob had impacted their lives. Dear friends who golfed and travelled with him will miss his bright smile and keen wit.
Remembering you is easy, we do it every day. Missing you is a Heartache that never goes away!
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private viewing was held by invitation. Cremation was entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Condolences and memories maybe shared and viewed on Rob's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Stars Air Ambulance (stars.ca/ways-to-donate/ab/), Lander Treatment Centre (c/o Claresholm and District Heath Foundation - Contact Tara 403-682-3739) or to the charity of your choice.

Five years this March 15th, heaven gained an angel...a business man (yeah yeah). You'll dear missed and hockey games, concerts, baseball games are definitely hard to attend now. Captain of boating, you let little Jax drive the boat. Growing pumpkins was your specialty, along with your passion for golf with your dear friends. You worked so hard on your loving mother's property. The Spider you were working on, was definitely amazing to assist you with. Your love for your doggie and momma's cats was so sweet. Throwing cat food for Smudge to work for it. I celebrate you each and everyday. God speed my bestie. Your family have lovingly inducted me unto the family. Here's a lemon ginger tea with extra honey for you along with Hungarian hot peppers with an onion sandwich. God speed. RIP Until we meet again. As you lovingly nicknamed me Deedub ♡♡
I am so very sorry for the passing of Rob. My deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire family and all his deer friends. I was blessed to call Rob my friend, his smile could brighten a room and his contagious laugh was like no other. Boulty left his footprint on my heart impacting my life in such a way I will for ever be thankful. We shared a love for a little pitbull named Xena! When i couldnt keep her anymore Rob stepped up to help me out. Rob took Xena everywhere with him and loved her as she loved him. I miss you everyday my friend but we shall meet again Thank you Boulty for every smile, laugh, deep conversation, tears and the push to make plans for the future... I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Rob. My heartfelt condolences to Frieda, Andrew, Linda and the entire family. Rob without a doubt made an impact on my life and that brings a smile to my face thinking of the great times we had. He had an infectious smile, fantastic laugh, and oh how he loved to tease. Rob had a loyalty to his friends and loved his family very much. I loved his kind heart and the soft side of him that loved all animals. I appreciated his love of home cooking and enjoying life. Rob you made an impact on me and for that I thank you. You will be missed, but I know you are at peace and have a front row seat to continue to love and watch over your family.
