DOROTHY BOWMAN passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the age of 83 years.Dorothy is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul, her children: Judy (Jack) Deck, George (Sandy) Denowh and Paula (Gary) Huffman, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Paul’s children: Tonya Lee Haultain, Lesa (Ian) Hamilton, Michelle Bowman, one grand-daughter, two great-grandsons and her brother, Jim (Marge) Hart.She was pre-deceased by her parents, four brothers, one sister, and two husbands.Dorothy held many jobs in her lifetime, the last before retirement, as a professional Real Estate agent.Dorothy love babies and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, putting together puzzles, playing Bingo, knitting and crocheting, adding to her cup and saucer and spoon collections, re-arranging furniture in her many homes and shopping. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family. Cremation has taken place and at Dorothy’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4K7 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7.
