It is with our deepest regrets that we say farewell to CLASINA "INEKE" BROERS (née Veeken) of Picture Butte, AB, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, May 27th, 2023.

It is with our deepest regrets that we say farewell to CLASINA "INEKE" BROERS (née Veeken) of Picture Butte, AB, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, May 27th, 2023.

Ineke is survived by her husband Martien Broers, son Niels (Sundeep), son-in-law James and grandchildren: Nikhail and Mia, Jayden, Breanna and Tanner, as well as many other family members in The Netherlands.

Ineke was born in Sijbekarspel, The Netherlands, on July 6, 1948 to the late Jan Veeken and Margareta Kuip. She immigrated to Alberta, Canada with family on June 27, 1982. Ineke was a beloved Oma, wife, mother, sister and friend who brought much happiness, laughter and joy to all she worked with and befriended.

GABRIELLE MARGARETHA BROERS, beloved daughter of Ineke and Martin Broers, passed away in Prince Rupert, BC, on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Gabrielle is survived by her partner James Pretulac and children Jayden, Breanna and Tanner, her father Martien Broers, in-laws Ester and Stan Pretulac, brother Niels (Sundeep) and family, along with many other family members overseas.

Gabrielle was born in Hoorn, The Netherlands on January 16, 1972. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister and a very devoted friend to many. Gabrielle will be very missed by all that knew her.

A private Viewing for Ineke will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Cremation is entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home. Gabrielle's Funeral was held in Prince Rupert, BC, and they will both be laid to rest peacefully in Hawaii at a later date.
