What a lovely service in honour of Gordon's life. As fellow member's of the 702 Wing, we came to respect and admire Gordon's passion and dedication to the service of others. May God be with all of you, his family as you grieve his loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Gordon,,God Bless,,,
Our deepest sympathy to Marlyn and family. We have lost a great friend and a true hero to our military family.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to Marilyn and her family in the loss of Gordon. We really enjoyed Gordon and Marilyn as our neighbors when they lived on twentieth street north. Gordon was the first and only person we have met who had been in the Korean War and we really appreciated his willingness to serve our country in this way. Bernie really enjoyed hearing about his plane as he also enjoys flying. As Peter shared in the eulogy, we can bear witness to their love for one another and the loving care he gave to Marilyn. It was such a pleasure to have them as neighbors. We had been thinking of both of you in the past months and wondered how you were doing. It was a lovely tribute to Gordon and we thank Peter for his heart felt words. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My deepest condolences
Gordon touched a lot of lives and will be dutifully missed by all who knew him. He was a great man, and an inspirational, calming, and significant influence on so many youth that he spoke to and worked with over the decades, speaking to them in the schools about history, the horrors of war, and the importance of Remembrance. He left a great legacy and a life of true resilience, and wanting to help others in times of need.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Brown Family. Adele and I would also like to thank Gordon for his service to Canada.
