Chief Body, Raven

RAVEN SAGE CHIEF BODY (NAIBISTA'KI) has made her final journey. The Creator took her back on July 24, 2021, at the age of 34 years.

Raven was born on September 21, 1986, at St. Michael's Hospital. She was a gift from the Creator. She was a dream and a wish come true.

Throughout her life she followed the pow wow trail from the moment she could walk. She was a ladies traditional dancer, and travelled throughout North America to various pow wows and dance performances.   Her talent was show cased through her participation in many dance at the Buffalo Jump and Writing on Stone. She was a member of the Calgary Stampede Young Canadians and proudly served as Miss Blackfoot Canadian Culture Princess.  She loved to travel and had many close friends in Lethbridge and Turtle Island.

Raven's only wish in life was to be a mother. She leaves behind her three beautiful children Tiana Keya Chief Body, Kyiyo Tex Day Rider-Chief Body, and Idalia Tiara Chief Body.

She is loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. 

A Wake will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.

Following the Service, Raven will be laid to rest on the Blood Reserve.
