D. Dewayne Whillans
1941 – 2025
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Annie Janet Whillans, and his children: Joellen Whillans, Dennis (Sheryl) Whillans, Tammy (Brian) Anderson, and Stewart (Paula) Whillans. DeWayne was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to thirteen.

Dewayne enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with the Alberta Wheat Pool, where he served as an elevator manager. His work ethic and commitment left a lasting impression on colleagues and community members alike.
Outside of work, DeWayne found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, camping, and spending quality time with his family. His legacy is one of kindness, strength, and a deep appreciation for togetherness.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
At Dewayne’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
