Dalke, Marjorie

MARJORIE EILEEN DALKE passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Linden View on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 89 years.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter Suzen St. Dalke (Greg Nickerson) of Florida, and grandson Ron Crowe of New York.

Marjorie was born May 16, 1930 in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, MB and grew up in Winnipeg. She worked for BOAC as a flight attendant and in the office. She was married to Capt. Donald Peter Dalke (deceased) for 63 years. Marjorie has lived in Lethbridge since 1970, doing volunteer work for the Anne Campbell Singers. She was an incredible artist with the Lethbridge Sketch Club and loved working with musical theatre at the Yates, where she created many of their set backdrops. She really loved the arts! She was an accomplished speed skater, dancer, singer and model and also ran Cantempo Modeling Agency. Marjorie worked for the Lethbridge Regional Hospital as a switch board operator until her retirement. She loved her yard, flowers and her home.

Marjorie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Don in Union Cemetery in Calgary. A Private Service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
