MARGARET "MAGGIE" DANIELS passed away suddenly at home, on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 50 years.
MARGARET "MAGGIE" DANIELS passed away suddenly at home, on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 50 years.
She is survived by a dear friend Rick Mackenzie Grieve and brothers Derk (Debbie) of Taber, Jake (Cathy), Sheree Daniels, Gerald Meliefste of Lethbridge and many nieces and nephews.
Maggie was predeceased by her parents Dirk and Jean, one sister Juanette and one brother Hank.
Maggie was born in Coaldale and lived her whole life in Southern Alberta. She attended Sunnyside School, R.I. Baker and graduated from Kate Andrews High School. Life for Maggie was about helping others, starting with working alongside her dad and mom in their catering business. Later she was able to carry this on helping and supporting her niece and nephews in any way she could. Maggie had a generous and caring heart and would support you in any way she could. Her organizational skills led to management positions at Zellers, Linen & Things and lastly the Dollar Tree. Maggie had a eye for detail and loved to craft. She loved flowers, music and animals, especially Buddy the dog. She and Rick fed the birds in their yard and had a family of geese that came regularly to feed. Maggie was a willing helper and support for Rick's smoked salmon business, hoping that it would become a success. The last few years Maggie's health became steadily worse but she always tried to keep a positive attitude. Her favorite color was purple and to honor her last request we ask that you wear something purple to her service, if possible.
A Celebration of Maggie's Life will be held at ST. ANDREW PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818-5th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
In memory of Maggie, memorial donations may be made to The Lethbridge Humane Society.

Sincere condolences to all Rick and the Daniels Families. Had a lot of fun with Maggie back in the days at Honkers and she over Ribs! Indeed a wonderful gal. Sorry for your loss.
I will miss hearing Maggie say Hi "T" that was her nickname for me she gave it to me years ago at Zellers and it stuck We didn't see each other all the time but when we did it was easy to catch up with my old friend.
So sorry to hear about this, and really too early for passing. I worked with Maggie in the mid 90's at Zeller's, and she was always friendly and fun to work with. Wishing her friends and family my deepest condolences.
My mother always talked so highly of Maggie. She says she was one of the best people she has ever known. I never had the pleasure of knowing Maggie but from what I have been told, we lost a great person!
Sending love and prayers to all. She was an amazing lady!!
So sad, Maggie became a great friend (and boss) to my family when we moved to Lethbridge from the U.K. We will miss her lots and on NY Eve when I rang to wish her happy birthday. X
My heart is sad for her family, everytime I would run into Margaret she had a friendly happy smile and hello.
I was proud to work with, and dance with, this hardworking, fun loving Gal. May everyone's fond memories give them strength at this difficult time and keep her alive in their hearts forever. You will be missed dearly, Maggie
I worked with Maggie at Zellers many years ago & connected again on Facebook. Maggie was a wonderful & happy person & much too young to pass.
Our deepest sympathies to Derk and Jake and families, and to Rick on the passing of Maggie. Sending much love with fond memories of a beautiful lady. Although the oceans separate us we will be there with you in spirit on Tuesday.xx James and Maria
