Jenny was born in London, Ontario. She moved west in 1970 with her dad, grandfather and six siblings, living in Vancouver, Calgary and the Crowsnest Pass. In 1971, they moved back to London, Ontario where she spent the rest of her childhood. She married Kenneth Hinnegan in 1979 and they had three children. The family moved to Brooks and fought to remain in beautiful Alberta. Jenny moved to Red Deer and excelled in spiritual counseling. In 1999, she met the love of her life, Raymond, and together they started a family business.
They spent time on vacation in Mexico, Curacao, Arizona and places all across Canada and the U.S.A.Finally settling in Lethbridge in 2012, Jen and Raymond found the perfect place to call home, where the scenery and community was everything they could have dreamed of. Jenny loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and was a voracious addict for the written language. She loved poems and among her favourites was "The Cremation of Sam McGee". She liked games on screen and in hand. Following an uphill struggle with cancer, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her and remembered as the one who brought peace and happiness to others.
Cremation is entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home Ltd.

Raymond, I heard about Jenny's passing and wanted to pass on my condolences. I know that you had a great relationship and you were lucky to have the time together. Regards Bob and Family.
I work with ray so these words are for him but at same time they can be shared.i know u have had a rough time in the last 3 years since coming to the factory and I hope u know ur work family is prepared to share ur grief with u.as I told u in december of 2010 I nearly died of something 90 percent of people die it came on me quick and I only had ten minutes to make my peace with this world after the surgeon told me he didn't think I was going to make it.as they whisked me into the operating room I could only think I wanted to see my daughter grow up and take care of my aged parents I simply prayed to god that he was better with desicion making than me and I trusted him more at that moment it was as if somebody hugged me and a great sense of calm and peace came over me.ur Beautifull jenny is now with him no longer in pain but free in that same peace and calm she is not lonely.i know that it will be tough for u it is on this earth and I have my good days and bad even after what I felt.but from a lutheran to a lapsed catholic trust me u will see her in eternity and ur lonlieness will have been brief.
