MYRNA LOUISE DODDS, beloved wife of Alex Dodds of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Care Centre in Lethbridge on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at the age of 78 years.

Myrna was predeceased by her mom and dad, Gustav & Louise Schatz.

She is survived by her husband, Alex; two sons, Ron & Mutita Dodds of Lethbridge and Brad & Kari Dodds of Calgary; four grandchildren, Landen, Lacey, Shay & Kiana; two sisters, Diane & Tom Bell of Medicine Hat and Connie & Lou Diede of Rapid City, South Dakota, as well as many nieces & nephews.

Mom was born and grew up on the farm at Hilda, Alberta. She later attended Medicine Hat High School. After graduation she worked for the City of Medicine Hat where she met dad. After marriage (on August 9th, 1958), they moved to Lomond, Alberta, where they operated a garage & gas station. Eventually they sold the garage and went farming at Lomond. Dear Alex, Ron and Mutita, Brad and Kari: My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your families on the sad news of Myrna's passing. For many years she was our neighbour and a cherished member of the Lomond community. Lively, friendly, and outgoing, Myrna always had time to talk and whenever our paths crossed we always had a pleasant chat. She will be missed by many. I am currently out of the country so will miss her service, but please know my thoughts are with you all! Marvin Maronda of Lomond.
