Norma was a lovely person to golf with and a troop who always carried her clubs. May she Rest In Peace.
Norma was one of the people that encouraged me to play golf, we enjoyed many rounds of very competitive golf at Henderson, even though there was an age difference wow, she was hard to beat, she was a mentor to many of the younger golfers at Henderson and there wasn't a rule in golf that Norma didn't know. Norma encouraged us to do our best but also to never give up, she always said even good golfers have bad rounds. Norma is an amazing lady, I was so fortunate to have her in my life.
I have to say what a great time I had at Henderson Lake Golf Club playing many a round of golf with Norma. That was a long time ago but I still remember the enjoyment we had with the girls there. Norma was a good golfer!!! We could always play a "neck in neck" game and enjoyed every shot we BOTH made. She was always in my corner when playing tournaments and I know she was my biggest fan. Those memories I will always cherish....RIP Norma
Great Auntie Norma was a legend. We will miss her.
