Earl was a truck driver for more than 35 years, and had the opportunity to see many parts of Canada and USA. He was a true handyman, as he could build and repair anything, and he loved to work with his hands. The only thing he loved more was listening to and singing country music and playing his guitar. He was a real performer, as he had a wonderful personality, full of laughter and the joy of life. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed many camping and fishing trips along with a cold beer or two! He did all of these things with the love of his life, Jackie (married 43 years), by his side. He was very close to his family members and his dogs.

A private service will be held when the weather warms and family can get together to pay tribute to him.

When I missed his My dad’s laugh, and voice and never ending support. I would find comfort in calling you over the last year. I will miss our conversations. You have shown me the true meaning of unconditional love. No matter how much time passed I could always count on you to make me laugh, tell me how beautiful I am and how proud of me you are. The memories of you I will cherish forever. You always made sure that the grandchildren were having fun. You were like Willy Wonka, always having candy somewhere. The camping trips you would pull the family together for. Your humor was infectious and you had a way of putting smiles on everyone’s faces. True definition of a gentleman. The way you loved grandma was something to emulate. You were patient, supportive and the love that poured from your eyes when you looked at her was something to be jealous about. I hope to find someone half as good as you were. Rest easy Grampy. I hope you and dad find comfort in each other on the other side I love you so much and you will be greatly missed Shanna English Granddaughter
