Ebner, Sandra

SANDRA EBNER (née TYMBURSKI) of Lethbridge, AB, passed away with her family at her side, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the age of 79 years. 

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Alfred, son Michael (Lora) Ebner of Airdrie and their children, Jared and Erika, daughter Penny (Douglas) Kampen of Comox, BC and their children Riley and Avery as well as her sisters, Mary Insley, Rose Zgurski and Leslie Barton, all of Lethbridge. 

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Katie Tymburski and her brother, Peter Tymburski. 

Sandra was born in the Galt Hospital in Lethbridge on October 28, 1943. She grew up on the family farm in rural Coaldale, AB. Sandra met Alfred as neighbours in their teens and eventually their friendship grew into love. They were married on June 6th, 1964 and began their active life, working and raising their children. 

Sandra worked for the Lethbridge School District 51 for many years in several different roles and loved the youthful energy of being surrounded by the school children. She volunteered with many community organizations over the years which was a huge part of her life and brought her many moments of joy. 

Sandra's love of life and people touched all those who knew her. She was quick to dance when music played and was always offering to help others. Sandra was a great cook and made sure that those in her life were well fed and cared for. She enjoyed being in the family garden surrounded by the flowers, especially Alfred's roses. 

During the past 11 months, Sandra resided in the Good Samaritans Park Meadows Village. Our family is truly grateful for the love and care that she received.

A private Family Service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone.
