Edeltraut "Elizabeth" Schwarz
EDELTRAUT “ELIZABETH” SCHWARZ, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Leonhard “Leo” Schwarz, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, with her loving family present, on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the age of 87 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating.
Following the Funeral Service, Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.

Although we can’t be there, your mom is top of our thoughts. A long life to be celebrated. We raise a glass to her and in her memory we live on and create new memories with family and best friends.
Our deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of Edeltraut. She was a wonderful lady and spoke lovingly of her family. I always looked forward to our little visits and hugs after church on Sundays. She will be missed. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Tante Edeltraut knitted me a beautiful blanket as a wedding present over 32 years ago and I still have it. It’s always on my bed and my favourite blanket. I appreciate the love and kindness she showed me. My sincere condolences on your loss.
Though I’ve only met you when I was a baby, you’re the person I got my middle name from. I’m sad I wasn’t able to meet you again, but I’ve heard many stories about you, and I know you’re proud of the person I’ve become. Rest easy grandma ❤️
When I was little you would rub my feet and give me a banana before bed. You crocheted me a beautiful blanket. You were such a loving mother grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. You are in heaven with my mom, auntie Marilyn, your brothers and sisters and grandpa.
