Edward Brandvold

EDWARD BRANDVOLD, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Ella (Hillmer) Brandvold for 56 years, passed away, on August 16, 2009 at the age of 83 years.

Ed was born on January 27, 1926 in Alvdal, Norway and came to Canada in 1930 with his family. He spent 30 years with a stationary company in Calgary. Ed enjoyed camping, fishing with friends, travelling, playing Euchre, carpet bowling (Senior Games 1999) and the happy times with his friends at the condo playing pool.

Ed’s home was always open to family and friends and many hours were spent laughing and visiting.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by many nieces and nephews, three brothers in law and five sisters in law.

He was predeceased by parents; Peter and Petra, three brothers; Lars, Ole and Peter, 2 sisters; Marie and Inga.

Relatives and friends are invited for a memorial luncheon with the family at Country Kitchen (basement of The Keg), 1715 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 4:00 P.M.
