Elizabeth was born in Hungary to parents, Katrina and Johann Wetzel. She grew up in Hungary and later, moved to Austria where she met her husband, Engelbert.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1950. Together, Bert and Liz raised three boys: Henry (deceased), Hubert and Richard.
Elizabeth loved to cook and garden. She treasured her time with her grandkids, and kept the wooden spoon close to her. She loved her flower and her angels, and now, she is one.

As per Elizabeth’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held.

So very sad to hear that Elizabeth has passed. She was a dearest friend of my mother when they lived at Black Rock Terrace. Mom thought so much of her and so did I. Sincerest sympathy to her sons and family.
