DEBRA "DEBBIE" ENANDER, beloved wife of the late Jon Enander, passed away peacefully and with family at her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 64 years.

DEBRA "DEBBIE" ENANDER, beloved wife of the late Jon Enander, passed away peacefully and with family at her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 64 years.

She is the loving mother of Kristin & Jerrad Shell, and Nana to their two sons, Ian and Kevin.

She was predeceased by her husband Jon, son Michael and parents Joyce and Jim Berry.

Debbie was born in Lethbridge and spent her life here. In the early days, she worked at the Campbell Clinic and Sears in Lethbridge before beginning her 31 year career as an audio technician for Alberta Health Services.

Debbie was the most generous and compassionate person you could imagine. She showed a genuine kindness to anyone that had the pleasure to know or talk to her. She was someone that would listen intently and try to help without any judgment or focus on herself. Debbie had a servant's heart and this was especially evident at any event she was involved with. Regardless of the circumstance, there was no way that under her watch, someone would not be taken care of or fully fed.

She loved working with children at AHS and was always diligent to make sure she did not run out of suckers to give away. She would frequently talk about the cute babies she saw, especially twins. One of her greatest joys at work patiently waited for, was to do a hearing test on her own twin grandboys Ian & Kevin.

Once her daughter's twins arrived, Nana Debbie was in her element. She would drop everything to lend a quick hand or take a full shift with the kids so mom and dad could get a few hours of sleep. She loved blessing the boys, they are stocked up on toys for the next several years!

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family above all else. Her recipe collection is second to none and each one is carefully adjusted with her personal touch. Double the sauce anyone?

Debbie was a very important part of her family's life and she will be dearly missed, especially by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held at THIRD DAY CHURCH, 90 - 550 Wt Hill Blvd. South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Dick Deweert officiating.

I was so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a wonderful person. I knew her through my many years as a patient at the Campbell Clinic. I saw her again recently after many years and she recognized me and we had a pleasant exchange. She will be missed by many. Condolences to the family.

I had the opportunity to get to know Debbie at church. She was a warm gentle and very compassionate person. When she would embrace you she gave it all and could feel the love radiating from her. I will terribly miss her presence and the loving words of encouragement. My sincere condolences to her family. Nothing is the same without her.
