Garry Demchuk

Even though we were both Northsiders, I first met Gary in the High Arctic in 1974. I was leaving the Isachsen weather station as he was leaving Eureka or Mould Bay. We flew back to Resolute Bay and on to Edmonton together. He had so many interesting stories and insights into the northside social scene. Story teller extraordinaire. I always thought I would run into him back in Lethbridge after that but never did. Very sad to learn that he passed away. My condolences to his family.

Jackie, We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Gary. I have many fond memories of him both growing up and being neighbors. He worked with my dad at CPR and with both Hank and Doug. My thoughts are with all of you and the memories that you will forever have of Gary.

My condolances to to his family, friends! I meet Garry back in 1988, Kipp yard. He trained me as a railroader.. Taught me lots about work and life... cheers buddy until we meet again

So, so, sorry Jackie to here the news.

I’m so sorry to hear of Garry’s passing I knew him from school and hung out on the northside

My sincere condolences on Gary's passing. We were high school friends from WCHS.

He will be sadly missed by family and all his friends.
