Gaudette, Gregory
Greg Scott Gaudette was a devoted and loving husband, father, son and friend.
Greg Scott Gaudette was a devoted and loving husband, father, son and friend.
Greg was survived by his wife Colby Gaudette, his son Kace Gaudette, his parents Dave and Nicole Purzyski, his Nana Darlene Gaudette, his grandparents Tony and Margaret Purzyski, his in-laws Sergio and Renee Cattoni, brother-in-law Matteo Cattoni (Michaela Hampton) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He served his Lethbridge Community for the last nine years as a firefighter paramedic. He had previously worked as a paramedic elsewhere throughout the province.
He found joy in life through activities with others. His willingness to adventure and try new things allowed him to see much of the world in such a short time. His outgoing personality and zest for life made him many friends.
Through his career, he met his soulmate Colby and their passion for life grew. They were married in July 2019. Later, in June of 2022, they were blessed with their son Kace. That little boy became the greatest joy in his life.
It brings Greg's family great peace knowing that Greg was not alone and passed doing something he loved, with one of his best friends Jonah Swen. They will be truly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at READYMADE COMMUNITY CENTRE, Township Road 90, Cranford, AB, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been created. Please use the link below to donate.

Darlene and Greg's Family Words cannot express how heartbroken I am in the loss of your wonderful grandson Greg. He was just the best person I have ever known. You know my mom's favorite paramedic. She just loved him. I hope he is up in heaven taking care of her again. So caring, nice and handsome. Life isn't fair. Thoughts and prayers for you and Gregs, wife little boy , his mother and the rest of yours and Greg's family
Our thoughts are with you at this impossible time trying to comprehend what has just happened. Keep strong and be comforted by Family and friends. Keep strong for your Son.
I worked with Greg when he was just a kid, racing around on rollerblades at the Superstore. As with a few of the young ones, I thought of Greg as one of my Superstore kids. He was always a laugh to work with. I hadn't seen him for many years until a few months ago when he was in the store with his work colleagues. He made a point of coming to talk to me, which I really appreciated. He was happy to tell me that he was now married and had a baby....all of a sudden he was all grown up. I will always have fond memories of Greg. My deepest condolences to you Colby and Kace and to the rest of Greg's family and friends. Take care of each other. Debbie
