MONICA PAULETTE GERGELY, beloved wife of Bob Gergely, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the age of 45 years.Besides her loving husband, Monica is survived by her mother Nina Rockwell of Coaldale, sister Natasha (Charles) Pittman of Warner and brothers-in-law Bill (Susan) Gergely of Carstairs, Steven (Deb) Gergely of Lethbridge and Marty (Barb) Gergely of Lethbridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.Monica is now resting in peace and free from all of her ailments. She will be forever dearly missed by all of her family, friends and loving cats.At Monica's request, no formal Funeral Service will be held. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I am truly shocked and saddened to hear about Monica, my niece. Due to the distances between our places of residence did not get to spend as much time as I would have liked with her. Her cousins, my sons Christian and Darren Purdy and their families send our heartfelt condolences to Bob, Nina, Natasha and Bruce, her father.
My heart is filled with sadness when I heard the news of Monica. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nina and her family. We will miss her here at the Lab every week. May she be rest in peace.

Growing up in Central Alberta I didn't get to spend as much time with my cousins in Lethbridge as I would have liked. But, I have always thought of you guys more like big brothers than my cousins! When You and Monica got married it was like having another sister and I had sooo much fun with her when she came to stay with us and she and I went golfing! Monica lives forever in our hearts as the sweet, kind, funny lady that made the world a better place. My heart goes out to you Bob and to Monica's family! My deepest sympathy goes to you all. Monica and her family had been a large part of my life while growing up. Monica was a true friend. May of lost contact over the years but still thought of her offense. Always good memories. Be a rest my friend ????
