Opa, you will be missed terribly. Flannel shirts, classical music, Y&R, KFC chicken, chocolate cake, an impeccably manicured lawn and Smitty's restaurants are all things that will make me think of you. I'm so thankful for our last visit, and thankful I had you as my Opa.

Heinz was a genuinely caring man. His love for Sophia was evident as he spoke of her every time we saw him. We enjoyed Heinz as a neighbour, and our visits with him will always be cherished. Heinz had an incredible sense of humour, and when he shared his life stories, it always left us wanting to hear more. Everyone on Dieppe knew of Heinz's gardening skills as his hedges were always trimmed to perfect spheres, and the fantastic fruit he grew was always shared with us. Over the past few months, we were privileged to hear more stories of Heinz, his accomplishments and his talents, through visits with Sophia and Sonya. He was indeed an amazing man and is missed. Our condolences to Sophia, Sonya and their families. Rebecca and Bruce

Dad, it was a privilege and honor to be your daughter, carer, and chosen advocate and agent. You taught me so much and I'm proud of the many attributes we share. Your loving Spirit is forever with me and I look forward to when we will see each other again. Peace to you as you join your heavenly family and rejoice together with the Lord our God. All my love, and in song, Sonya.

A great neighbour and friend. Kind and personable, loved keeping his front yard garden looking beautiful. My kids always loved waving hello to him and his bear statues out front of his house. Road his bike almost to the very end. Loved dropping by with fruit he pick to our place, leaving it with a not so subtle hint that it would be nice if we baked something with them. It was a joy for us to return some of them in muffins or pies. Dieppe Boulevard will miss him.

Mr. Grossklaus was a caring true gentleman. We enjoyed him as a neighbor and visiting with him at First Baptist Church. Mr. Grossklaus would converse in German and we would joke around. Heinz led a great Christian example on how to live. Our condolences to James, Bonnie, Jamie and Kelsey. Lawrence and Carolyn Schinkel
