Groves, Dexter
DEXTER ALVIN GROVES, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2014, in Lethbridge at the age of 68 after a short battle with mesothelioma. He is survived by his wife Susan, of 46 adventurous years and four children: Scott & Nancy Groves (Jessalin, Jordana, Caleb and Trinity); Trevor & Amy (Reice and Max); Cameron (Cohan and Morgan), Janelle& Grant Kehler (Cabrie and Kianna), his brother Alan (Sophie) Groves and, numerous nieces and nephews. Dexter was predeceased by his parents Len & Evelyn Groves.Dexter will be remembered for his numerous years as a respected Real Estate Appraiser in Lethbridge and area and through his employment with CMHC. Dexter was known for his love of outdoor activities, his convoluted plans and most importantly time with family. Dexter thoroughly enjoyed serving God through the People of Praise group. One of Dexter's legacies includes the renovation and historical designation of the "Mayor Magrath House" on 7th avenue south. My condolences to Susanne and the family of Dexter. I am sorry for your loss. He was a kind and cheerful person to me. It was a pleasure to have been his pharmacist.
