EVELYN JEAN GROVES, Beloved wife of Melvin C. Groves passed away at the Good Samaritans Home on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 74 years.
EVELYN JEAN GROVES, Beloved wife of Melvin C. Groves passed away at the Good Samaritans Home on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 74 years.
She is the loving mother & grandmother of son Brian Groves, of Lethbridge (Aaron Groves, Brock Groves), Don Groves wife Tara Groves of Lethbridge (McGwire Groves), Mary Lazaruk (Aunt).
She is also survived by Brother John Kruchkywich and wife Gail of Lethbridge, Brother Wally Kruchkywich and wife Cheryl (Lethbridge), Sister Louise Hart and husband George Hart (Okotoks, many Nieces, Nephews.
She was predeceased by her Father Walter Kruchkywich and Mother Minnie Kruchkywich, Gladys Wozniuk (Aunt), William Wozniuk (Uncle), Margret Wozniuk (Aunt).
Evelyn JEAN as everyone knew her by was born and raised on Broders Farm. Jean married her loving husband Melvin Groves on June 8th, 1963 enjoying 51 years of marriage. Jean enjoyed her time at the Kresges Candy counter, Sears photo studio, Retail Sales ....Jean loved watching both sons and later on her grandsons participating in Hockey, baseball, Volleyball, Football she was there biggest FAN. Summers were enjoyed visiting family in Saskatchewan and camping with many great friends at Lundbreck Falls.
The Family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Good Samaritans Home Park Meadows for all the wonderful care and support both Jean and Melvin both received in the time Jean was a patient in their care.
A private family memorial will take place at later time.
