She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Brenda Lynde and grandson Shaun Lynde; sister Nellie Mehrer and brother Ron Mehrer; nephew Glenn (Karen) Cooper; niece Cheryl (Desmond) and family; niece Barbara (Dariusz) and nephew Keith (Nathalie) and family.

Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter Guzik; parents, Christian and Paulina Mehrer; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Al Cooper, sister Eleanor Mehrer, sister-in-law, Melva Mehrer as well as canine family members, Tawnie and Lexus.

Marion was born on October 1, 1930 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, the second youngest of five siblings. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed Bingo and bowling. Marion was the founding President of the Trigeminal Neuralgia
Association of Canada (TNAC) as well as establishing the local TN support group, which still meets every month.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital for their compassion and dedication to Marion in her last days as well to the personnel of the Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services for their professionalism and commitment to EMS care for Marion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Trigeminal Association of Canada, C/O Tracey Houston, Treasurer TNAC, 8352-208B Street, Langley, BC V2Y 0A7.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.

Dear Brenda & family: So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have fond childhood memories of our families getting together.

Janice Eastwood (nee Lychak), September 6, 2017

Brenda and Shaun, Marion was an amazing woman, always caring, always watching out for her neighbors. She had a great sense of humor and a remarkable optimism in the midst of life's challenges. She has touched many lives and made them better. What a way to leave the world!

The How Family, February 21, 2017

Dear Brenda and Shaun, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time as you mourn the passing of Aunt Marion. Love Glenn and Karen

Glenn & Karen Cooper, February 17, 2017

I was sad to learn of Marion's passing. Although I will miss her sweet compassion concern for all those with TN she will be pain free at last and will be reunited with Walter who she missed ever so much. She was so kind and it is a great credit and legacy to her for starting the TN Association and the local TN group in Lethbridge and staying with it for so many years even when it was so hard for her because of her failing health. She was a great help to so many people. Please accept my deepest and sincere sympathy. She was well respected and will be greatly missed.

Marion was such a guiding light and force to be reckoned with. She came into our lives through our teenage daughters fight with Trigeminal Neuralgia, but she quickly earned a permanent spot in our hearts. She truly cared about her TN family and we will all do our best to honour her memory moving forward. Rest now dear Marion.

Jackie Lea, February 16, 2017
