HARRINGTON
JACK HARRINGTON, beloved husband of Diane Muma, loving father of Karen (Ryan) and proud Papa to Finley, passed peacefully in Lethbridge on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at the age of 68, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Jack will be remembered as a jack of all trades, fixing things at home or helping out a friend. He was happiest when he was out walking in the coulees or on mountain trails. He cycled or walked to work at the U of L almost every day for 35 years. Jack is now free to roam once more.
Memorial tributes may be made in Jack's name to the Alzheimer Society of Lethbridge, #40, 1202 - 2nd Avenue South, T1J 0E3.
At Jack's request, no formal funeral service will take place.

Diane and family, how fondly we remember Jack, our lovely neighbour and friend. So many times we were on the receiving end of his "jack of all trades" help - always offered with good humour and good nature. May his spirit roam the coulees and rest on the walks he so cherished.

Sad to hear of Jack's passing. He was a good man and probably the most recognized face on the University of Lethbridge campus for over 30 years. Rest in peace, my friend.
