Heather was born in O’Leary, PEI and lived in many parts of Canada including the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, before settling in Lethbridge where she spent the past 25 years. Despite living “out west”, she was always an “Island Girl” at heart.
A service to honour and celebrate Heather’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. A celebration of Heather’s life will also be held on PEI at a later date.

I am so very sorry to learn today of Heather's untimely passing earlier this year. Thinking of you all as you bring her home to her beloved Island later this month.
My deepest sympathy to both the Woodside and Graham families. So many wonderful childhood memories growing up together. Blessings to you all
Heather's was always my favourite face to see at the library. I'll miss her presence there.
My thoughts and prayers are with you now and the days to come. Thinking of all of Heather Grahams Family. GOD bless.
So very sorry to hear this Dave. I am thinking and praying for you and your family at this very sad time. May she rest in eternal peace.
I didn't work with Heather for very long before she moved to the Crossings branch of the Lethbridge Public Library but I was enormously fond of her. They say that people may not remember what you did in life so much as how you made them feel. Heather was kind and witty, open and honest; I will remember feeling at ease with her and encouraged to take life as it came. My sympathies to Heather's family and friends. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Heathers passing.. She is such a very special Niece, so kind and calm, much like her Mother Freida. So very happy to have had a visit with her when she was on PEI this summer. To Dave and all the Family , please accept our love and condolences and know that we are with you in spirit.
My deepest sympathies to you all now and in the days to come.
We are very sorry to hear of Heather’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Graham and Woodside families. Brian and Bonnie Phillips
My sincere condolences to David and family. I’ll keep you in my thoughts. To my Woodside friends I have been having some good memories of time spent together in O’Leary since hearing of Heather’s passing. One of the 4 of us Heather’s growing up. Keep strong, keep memories of the good times at the forefront, and take care of each other along with Heather’s family.
Heather was a beloved friend who left us far too early. I hate the idea of a world without her joy, wit, love of children's books and the children and adults who shared this passion, her huge heart, her equally huge brain, her commitment to lightness and humor even though she knew well how hard life could be, and her youthful spirit of play and wonder (despite her great wisdom). Although we lost touch in the months after I moved away in 2022 and her illness worsened (and my own cancer treatment restarted), I badly miss those moments of subtle snark too. She was a generous friend to me when I was diagnosed with cancer, sharing her own experience of young adult cancer, and through the tribulations of working at the library together during chaotic COVID-times. Our friendship was mostly a workplace friendship; despite that, I heard so many anecdotes and mentions of her husband and children and her homeland of PEI to know how deep the waters of her love for her family ran. I am sending a heart-load of wishes for healing and carrying on in Heather's memory (with all the sentiment and regard for the past that Heather did in the wake of her own losses) as her most beloved humans (and animals) forge a life without her one-of-a-kind presence. May her memory be a blessing.
I remember that Heather worked with us as a Student Placement Officer. So sorry for your loss.
