GARY HERBERT, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at home, on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 63 years, he was the beloved husband of Cathy Herbert and father of Jack.

GARY HERBERT, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at home, on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 63 years, he was the beloved husband of Cathy Herbert and father of Jack.

Gary joined the Army as a teenager and was part of the 1st Royal Tank Regiment. After leaving the army, he went out into the world. He worked for Shell Oil and had a long career as a long-haul truck driver, firstly across Europe, then in Canada, after he emigrated in September of 2006. He then became an oilfield dispatcher with Spilaks.

Gary met Cathy in 2015 and they married in 2019.

Gary loved his football and golf. He was a lifelong and die-hard Everton Fan. He was extremely funny and was the life and soul of any party; a true gentleman and a real piss taker (making fun of people). Once he made friends with you, you had a friend for life.

A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. MST with Pat Siedlecki officiating. The Celebration of Life will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Gary's Obituary on the Cornerstone website.
