Our beloved sister, aunt, mother, and friend, Robin Hilmer (née Reich), passed away on August 5, 2019, just shy of her 63rd birthday.
Our beloved sister, aunt, mother, and friend, Robin Hilmer (née Reich), passed away on August 5, 2019, just shy of her 63rd birthday.
Robin was born August 24, 1956, in Weyburn, SK, the first of three children to John and Mildred Reich. As the older sister to her brother Craig and sister Jocelyn, she was fiercely loyal and loving. Robin spoke often of her parents and loved to reminisce in stories from her life. In spite of the challenges she faced, Robin always saw the glass half full. It was rare to see her without a smile on her face. She was quick to laugh and share in a joke.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mildred Reich, and survived by her siblings Jocelyn (Benjamin) Steinborn, and Craig (Deborah) Reich, and her nieces Liesl Steinborn, Caroline Steinborn and Alea Steinborn (Dylan Navratil).
Robin was a genuine, sweet woman whom we all loved deeply and will forever miss.
A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca/en/donate toward breast cancer research.
