Ingold, Eileen

EILEEN THERESA INGOLD (née Vanderwal), beloved wife of Darcy Ingold of Lethbridge, passed away at home on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the age of 52 years.

Eileen is survived by her children, Alyssa (Dustin) Knelsen, Cody (Dalyce) Ingold, Leah (James) Halma and Tianna Ingold, and her grandchildren, Carly Knelsen, Lexi & Rhyder Ingold, and Jacob Halma. She is also survived by her mother, Akkie Vanderwal, her sister, Grace (Henry) Visser, and her three brothers, Gerry (Barb) Vanderwal, Peter (Lora) Vanderwal and Ken (Deb) Vanderwal.

She was predeceased by her father, Barteld "Bert" Vanderwal.

Eileen was born on December 20, 1967 in Coaldale, AB where she spent her whole childhood. She married Darcy on October 19, 1991 and they began their life together in Calgary. She made many moves along with her family between Calgary, Lethbridge, Coaldale and Lacombe. Eileen loved to read, do jigsaw puzzles and play games with her family. She was an Oma to four precious grandchildren, and being an Oma was one of her passions. She fully lived her life for God and enjoyed worshipping Him through singing. A passage that Eileen held close to her heart was from Ephesians 2: 8, which reads, "For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God."

Friends and family are invited to meet during a Visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 St. S, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 - 40 Ave. N, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, kindly RSVP your attendance to Cornerstone. Seating will be limited to 100 guests. Facemasks are mandatory and will be available upon entry.
